Meet Therese Parks RN, BSN, NC-BC
Senior Wellness Nurse Coach
I have been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. I have worked in the hospital in a variety of Intensive Care Units, for a major insurance company, and then found my heart in the Home Healthcare setting.
I loved being a Home Healthcare RN for many years. When I heard about the new specialty of Nurse Coaching, It was a perfect fit for my dream to help seniors and their families. Becoming a Board Certified Nurse Coach has given me the opportunity to partner with adult children and seniors navigating health challenges from a very personalized perspective - one that will fit their unique needs.
When seniors and their adult children organize health information it can promote better overall health:
-
more efficient and safe care
-
Better communication with your medical providers
-
Fall prevention resources and ideas
-
Limit health complications
-
Promote senior independence
-
Avoid hospitalizations
There are many basic things you can do to promote better wellbeing. The first is to get organized and to make a plan moving forward. I want you to feel like you are getting the best care possible for you and your loved one.
I’m here to help you shine!
